Big Time dueling pianos is a locally owned small business in Kansas City MO. consisting of two piano players and a drummer. All of us sing. We're an all-request based show and very interactive with the audience. We encourage the audience to request a wide variety of popular songs from the past 60 years consisting of dance-pop, rock, country, rhythm and blues, hip-hop and a few rap songs. We play 90-110 shows a year, for private events, theatre and event center shows, festivals, bar and winery gigs. Big Time dueling pianos is available to travel also. Prices are usually $200-1,200 less compared to other piano show companies while offering the same level of talent and entertainment value. Big Time likes to be different than the other companies. We provide tambourines for the audience to play if they want and also a cowbell, because many songs could use more cowbell, plus we offer several games and contests as options at no extra charge such as a tambourine contest, name that tune trivia contest and even an inflatable air guitar contest. We also give away many fun party items. We do this simply to get the audience involved in our show. We offer recorded background music and emcee service at no extra charge. For most private events our show is 2 or 2.5 hours non-stop. We're different compared to most bands because we don't use any set lists, we're more spontaneous being a request-based show. We're similar to party cover bands because we like to offer an energetic, fast paced show playing mostly upbeat dance music unless a client wants us to be more mellow and laid back but most of the time our show is very energetic and entertaining.
